CUPE Local 2058 represents the unionized employees of the City of Langley. The City of Langley Civic Employees Union became a chartered local of the Canadian Union of Public Employees on January 26, 1977. The aims and objectives of this Union are to advance our interests as workers; to building up an organization of Civic Employees, where our members can participate in the discussion of those practical problems upon the solutions of which depend our welfare and prosperity; to encourage the principle and practice of settling all differences between the City and the Employees in a harmonious manner; to promote the morale and economy of our members.
